New from Christophe Lindenlaub

In anticipation of Christophe Lindenlaub’s first visit to the UK we are thrilled to release a host of fantastic new wines from the domaine.

Based up in the north of Alsace, Christophe's 8 hectares of vineyards consist mainly of clay and limestone soils, sitting above 300m elevation on the steep slopes that surround his hometown of Dorlisheim. His focus has been to harness the potential of these sites, and so, as well as a move away from chemical intervention in the vineyard and cellar, Christophe has elected to use stainless steel for elevage as a means to further define the freshness and precision in the wines.

Much like their maker, the wines burst with energy - at the core of each is a zippy line of acidity underpinned by a deep salinity on the palate - you could call this Christophe’s trademark. Even the more aromatic varieties posses the same quality, giving exceptional length and refreshment. The warmth of the 2020 vintage has provided wines of exquisite balance, with slightly fleshier fruit than previous vintages which makes them wonderful to drink in their youth.
We have received two new cuvées, both riffing on macerations of Gewurtztraminer as well as new vintages of some of our favourites wines. Christophe will be joining us to pour these and more this Sunday at Flawd in Manchester and at Mangal II in London. You’ll find more information on these events in our previous post.

All the wines are available now for our wholesale customers and to purchase for home delivery via our website. For more information please send us an email to sales@beattieandroberts.com.
