Christophe Lindenlaub is coming to the UK!

The Lindenlaub family have been based in the north of Alsace for a few centuries farming the steep hills that surround their home town of Dorlisheim. Over time they have changed from arable farming, to animal rearing and only in recent history managing 8 hectares of vineyards. Christophe took the reins in the early 2000s, bringing in organic and biodynamic practises in the vines and in the past decade focussing on ending the use of additions in the winery. His wines are vital and energetic - oozing the character he himself possesses. We are thrilled to be welcoming Christophe over to the UK for a couple of special events in just under two weeks.

First up on Sunday 5th December we will be heading up to Manchester to see our friends at Flawd for a bar takeover. We will be coming armed with bottles old and new, and Christophe fully charged for a night of music, food and his wonderful wines. Running from 2pm until late, there are no bookings, just turn up and grab a glass!

Then on Tuesday 6th December we are thrilled to be heading to one of our favourite restaurants, the superlative Mangal II in Dalston, to host a dinner where we will once again be dipping into our catalogue of Christophe’s wines, there with the man himself pouring a big selection by the glass. The team have supported Christophe’s wines since we first imported them, thinking as we do that their salinity, aromatics and refreshing acid line are perfect partners to the food of the ocakbaşı.
