New from Anne-Laure Laengel!

Anne-Laure is a relative newcomer to winemaking, only taking over her beautiful 1 hectare parcel in northern Alsace in 2019. Her vineyard, planted on rich clay and limestone soils in Bernardswiller, has been tended to organically since 2018 and is split between 40 year old Sylvaner vines and 20 year old vines of Auxerrois, as well as small amounts of Pinot Gris and Muscat.

One of the promising rising stars of the region, Anne-Laure shares much in common with her husband Christophe Lindenlaub, both believing in holistic farming practices, patience during élevage, and a zero-zero approach in the cellar. It is clear, however, that her wines have a voice of their own, and it is wonderful to see the progression she has made since starting just a few years ago.

The latest release comes from the challenging 2021 vintage, where most of Alsace was plagued by frost and mildew. However, with meticulous sorting at harvest, Anne-Laure has crafted some stunningly fresh and vital wines and we are extremely pleased to offer her whole range this year.
