Formerly the cuvée that took the Corbières appellation (subsequently abandoned, after too many headaches from appellation beaurocracy), Le Cordières des Andes acts as a calling-card for Rudolphe and Laetitia’s vintage as a whole. Made from an equal-part blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, each vinified and raised separately in foudre before blending. A touch of warm baking spices comes through on the palate here, rounded out with plenty of charming dark fruit and herbs.
