From a single older parcel of Chenin Blanc grown on schist and clay in Rablay-sur-Layon. The grapes were directly pressed and aged in old barrels for just over a year. The longer elevage in an oxygen-rich environment allows for the bracing acidity to integrate into the wine, developing a complex, rich and layered palate along the way. Drinking wonderfully now, this will age gracefully over the years to come.
