A wonderful year for Sylvain’s Gamay - the fruit here, as always comes from vines planted on basalt and limestone soils. The grapes saw a short whole-bunch maceration before a 9 month élevage in fibreglass tank. A lighter weight than usual showing all manner of bright red fruit, a delicate structure and an elegant mineral finish.
