The fruit was harvested from the south-east facing parcel, Sous La Roche. Sensitive and complex, this long élevage oxidative Savagnin was in a single large wooden foudre for 6 years with no topping-up of the barrel. A wonderfully complex wine that shows in its many layers flavours of dried fruits, nuts and warm spice as well as an extremely long saline finish. One of the finest examples we have tried.
