A blend of the Cailloutis and Aubepine parcels with a mixture of sand, clay and limestone soils. The grapes were very slowly pressed with a short infusion before ageing on the lees in barrique. An aromatic flinty nose hints at the powerful, structured acidity and layered minerality that opens in the glass once poured. A wine that will reward drinkers for years ahead.
