Fruit from an 80 year old parcel of Cabernet Franc on sandy schiste soils. The fruit was harvested and underwent a long maceration, followed by 16 months of ageing in old barrels. The warm weather in 2022 allowed for good maturity, creating a bold wine full of black fruits and warming spice with enough structure to stand up to hearty dishes at the table.
