Coming from 30 year old vines planted on mineral-rich blue granitic soils and sitting at 400m elevation just in view from Iris & Wincent’s house. The harvested fruit was left in whole bunches for a two week maceration before pressing into old barrels for 18 months of ageing. A wonderfully expressive wine with intense red fruit and delicate tannic structure, lifted by a gently peppery finish.
