This will be the last vintage of this blend from Axel’s recently acquired 7ha parcel. This year’s assemblage is mix of direct-press and short maceration Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Alicante blended with four large barrels of 2022 Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cinsault that were destemmed and left outside to macerate for a year. This light-bodied red has an abundance of dark red fruits and notes of the garrigue framed with light tannins.
