This year the wine sees a majority of Syrah, with Grenache and Carignan making up the rest of the blend. Fruit is harvested from their younger vines, destemmed and macerated for 5 days in stainless steel before being pressed back into tank for a 9 month élevage. Perennially one of our favourite vins de table, this is perfectly poised with layers of briny dark fruits, delicate tannins and a pleasing acidity.
