From 95 year old vines planted on clay and limestone soils. The fruit was de-stemmed for a 15-day maceration with élevage following in old barrels for just under 2 years. A deep, serious expression of a grape rarely vinified in this style. The nose has hints of leather and tobacco with firm tannins and mature red fruits on the palate.
