A blend of Cabernet Franc, Pineau d’Anuis, Gamay, and Grolleau from vines planted on clay-limestone soils. Vinified separately with maceration in whole bunches, the pressed juice was then blended before a short élevage in fibreglass tank. A deep garnet in the glass, the wine is all dark red fruits with a refreshing tart acidity framed by enjoyably crunchy tannins.
