Pinot Noir picked from 30 year old vines grown on shale soils in the Bas-Rhin region of Alsace. The fruit underwent whole bunch maceration for 13 weeks in stainless steel before ageing in dame-jeanne for 1 year. Like with all Pierre’s wines, the élevage in glass gives the wine a unique structure and purity, while simultaneously showing all manner of high-toned fruit and earthy layers from this special terroir.
