Axel harvested his Grenache quite late this year, ending in mid-October, resulting in grapes with high maturity. Even with a short maceration, the beautiful, ripe fruit has resulted in a wine of great depth and complexity. More of a classic full-bodied Roussillon red in style with generous dark fruits and a structure that lends the wine well to hearty dishes in the colder months.
