The fruit here was harvested from old vines grown on limestone soils. The free-run juice was bottled into Sylvain’s cuvée of Justine Goutte, and the pressed juice was aged in new barrels for 12 months. Deeply concentrated, with briny, dark fruit, and a nose full of crushed violets. A stunning expression of concentrated, medium-bodied Syrah.
