This year the blend consists of two thirds Syrah with 7 days of whole-bunch maceration and the final third made up by Grenache Noir macerated for 10 days. The Grenache was harvested from Sylvain’s vines planted on basalt lending a mineral finish for a wine otherwise bursting with the herbaceous, briny dark fruit of Syrah.
