The fruit was harvested from the Loire before undergoing 10 months of maceration in large old barrel. Once fermentation was completed the wine was left for a year of élevage in the same barrel. Rich, plush fruit with a subtle spicy finish that finds balance in rounded acidity and delicate tannins.
