Grenache Blanc from Remi Poujol in the Languedoc underwent a two-month whole cluster maceration before a long élevage in fibreglass. Showing an aromatic nose of beeswax and honeyed mead, with a few swirls in the glass, the palate reveals layers of stone fruits, a slightly smoky finish and dusty tannins.
